This supports our mission of offering to our local market the highest level of original design in furniture and decor made from sustainable and exotic material. Much of our collection is produced from grade A teakwood grown in cultivated forests. This wood is dense, strong, and durable. We are now proud to offer many of our unique, machine-made products via this ecommerce store.
The pieces offered on this ecommerce store are made of kiln-dried wood to avoid cracking and warping during and after furniture-making. Then, with dried wood properly stacked, these pieces are machine-made by skilled carpenters.
Waste Not Want Not: Along with cultivated teak, we also emphasize incorporating recycled teak wood from the roots and remains of the trees after harvesting. Sustainability is key. You will see on the product description if the piece is recycled or cultivated teak.

We also recycle teakwood from old teak railroad ties, from teak-hulled proas with their ornate outriggers that have fished the Java Sea for generations, from very old fenceposts and lintels, and wherever else our search takes us.
